Empower Magazine gives you a platform to get your voice heard and recognised. Your submissions can be about Global Politics, Mental Health Awareness, Systemic Racism, Pop Culture and just about anything you wish to write or illustrate about and believe in, as long as it is constructive, unique and, of course - empowering.

We accept both - written pieces in the form of stories, essays, poems and so on as well as art & illustrations. Instructions and criteria of both written as well illustrations submissions are stated below.

Write for Us

Your submission can be a write up on the things you believe in, a poem, an artistic feature or any other writing and art formats that you want to showcase to the world. While there is no word limit for poetry, the word limit for prose is between 300- 700 words.

Upon receiving your submitted piece, it is first run through by our editors, who scrutinise it to ensure that no plagiarism has taken place and take care of any grammatical errors  without changing any of your original content.

Since we receive a lot of submissions, all submitted pieces are read and examined before deciding which ones of your brilliantly unique writeups can be published on our platform. You will be notified on the status of your submission and if it is going to be published through an email; do look forward to it!
